Are you ready to lose your anxiety?
After the holiday season and into the new decade many people are looking for change. A new way to operate, a new way to relate, a new way to feel. Something which I have become very aware of is anxiety. It is a crippling emotion that is easy to let go of, if you have the right tools! Those tools are located inside of you and it's time to take responsibility for how you would like to feel!
If you are ready to take responsibility for your emotions and taking charge of your anxiety, we can take the next step to let that anxiety go.
Step one - Drink Water!
Our bodies are primarily water, and water helps circulate everything in our physical body. I imagine a river moving any debris or stagnate energy through my body to help clean and clarify the emotional body.
Step two - Time In Nature!
Take a walk in nature. There is a natural vibration which our bodies want to resonate at. That vibration is the same as nature. Taking a 45 minute walk in nature will bring your body back to its natural state, help calm the mind, and bring the emotions into stillness.
Step three - Stillness!
Start a meditation practice, and be consistent with it. Same time each day, same place, same practice and continue that practice for a month. Meditation allows time for you to align to your baseline energy. If you have time to watch 30 minutes of netflix you can create a block of time for 15 minutes of meditation. What is more important to you? The anxiety in your life, or a place of deep self gratitude?
Step four- Change your routine!
As humans we have a tendency to feel comfortable with patterns and routines. If you are experiencing anxiety it may be that your body and soul is looking for something different! Try activities which bring you joy, or activities that scare you a little! Breaking the habit or routine will shock the system and push you out of your comfort zone!
Step five - Move the body!
Dance! Run! Scream! Move! The body wants to move, it wants to try new things, it wants life to flow through! The movement of the body helps stimulate and circulate the cells of your body which then carries and circulates any stagnate energy out of the body! Imagine emotions and thoughts as food, that food is stored in the body. Is that food being digested properly? Or is it stuck? Is it damming up the flow of energy? You are responsible for moving the energy! It's time to get up and move!
